Taxonomy
Aporrhais bicarinatoides was named by Wollemann (1903) [from Albian strata in northern Germany].

It was recombined as Aporrhais (Tessarolax) bicarinatoides by Wollemann (1908); it was recombined as Trilemma bicarinatoides by Blagovetshenskiy and Shumilkin (2006).
