Trachytherus subandinus
Taxonomy
Trachytherus subandinus was named by Villarroel A et al. (1994). Its type specimen is YPFB PAL 7224, a set of teeth (Right P2-M2, and left palatal fragment with M1-M3, some teeth damaged), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Río Pluma, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in Bolivia.
