Praeaulacus byssinus

Taxonomy
Praeaulacus byssinus was named by Wang et al. (2015). Its type specimen is CNU-HYM-NN-2012038, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
