Megachirella wachtleri
Taxonomy
Megachirella wachtleri was named by Renesto and Posenato (2003). Its type specimen is PZO 628, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Above bed K11, Monte Prà della Vacca / Kuehwiesenkopf area, which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian marginal marine siltstone in the Dont Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Megachirella.
