Tsagandelta dashzevegi
Taxonomy
Tsagandelta dashzevegi was named by Rougier et al. (2015). Its type specimen is PSS-MAE 629, a mandible (a left dentary fragment preserving a mostly complete m2, the base of the crown of the m3, and roots of only the p1. The jaw is missing the mesial half of the ca), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsagan Tsonj, which is in a Cenomanian/Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Baynshire Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Tsagandelta.
