Anthaxia punctifera
Taxonomy
Eoanthaxites punctifer was named by Haupt (1956). Its type specimen is GPIUH G55/33, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Geiseltal (GPIUH collection), which is in a Lutetian mire/swamp lignite/shale in Germany.
It was recombined as Anthaxia punctifer by Weidlich (1987); it was recombined as Anthaxia punctifera by Bellamy (2008).
