Taxonomy
Meristella robertsensis was named by Merriam (1940) [= ?Meristella (Whitfieldia) nasuta Walcott, 1884, p. 148, Pl. 3, figs. 8, 8a, 8b; not Conrad, 1842. Pl. 6, figs. 2, 13-16 = Meristella cf. robertsensis]. Its type specimen is USNM 96369 and is a 3D body fossil.
