Taxonomy
Cadoceras comma was named by Imlay (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 108057, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 21348, Iniskin Peninsula, which is in a Callovian marine siltstone in the Chinitna Formation of Alaska.
