Stegopodus czerkasi

Taxonomy
Stegopodus czerkasi was named by Lockley and Hunt (1998). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CU-MWC 195.1, a footprint (cast of right manus track), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is tracksite, 5 km northeast of Moab airport, which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian terrestrial sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Utah.
