Chaohuperleidus primus
Taxonomy
Chaohuperleidus primus was named by Sun et al. (2013). Its type specimen is GMPKU-P-1120, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is South Majiashan quarry (Nanlinghu Fm), which is in a Spathian basinal (siliciclastic) marl in the Nanlinghu Formation of China. It is the type species of Chaohuperleidus.
