Jacana farrandi
Taxonomy
Jacana farrandi was named by Olson (1976). Its type specimen is UF 21219, a limb element (tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is McGehee Farm, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Alachua Formation of Florida.
