Marcopoloichthys faccii

Taxonomy
Pholidophorus faccii was named by Gortani (1907). Its type specimen is MFSN 5915, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Monte Diverdalce, Cazzaso, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Val Degano Formation of Italy.

It was recombined as Marcopoloichthys faccii by Tintori et al. (2008) and Tintori et al. (2011).
