Taxonomy
Isognomon (Semignomon) tabasicum was named by Repin (2013). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 837/96, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kamar-Mehdi Range, Tabas region, which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Badamu Formation of Iran.
