Cryptocephalites punctatus
Taxonomy
Cryptocephalites punctatus was named by Scudder (1895). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is North Fork of Similkameen River, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine shale/siltstone in the Allenby Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Cryptocephalites.
