Taxonomy
Uskatocoleus convexus was named by Ponomarenko (2013). Its type specimen is PIN 3840/1205, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Suriekova I, ditch 2 (PIN collection 675), which is in a Wordian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Kazankovo-Markinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
