Leptoconops (Leptoconops) zherikhini

Taxonomy
Leptoconops zherikhini was named by Szadziewski and Arillo (2003). Its type specimen is MCNA 9176, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Peñacerrada outcrop I, which is in an Albian terrestrial amber in the Escucha Formation of Spain.

It was recombined as Leptoconops (Leptoconops) zherikhini by Borkent (2013), Szadziewski (2018) and Borkent and Dominiak (2020).
