Taxonomy
Arthropterus helmi was named by Schaufuss (1896). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Danziger Naturkundemuseum Helm collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
It was recombined as Arthropterillus helmi by Wasmann (1926) and Wasmann (1929); it was recombined as Succinarthropterus helmi by Nagel (1987).
