Cephalotes ventriosus
Taxonomy
Cephalotes ventriosus was named by de Andrade (1999). Its type specimen is SMNS Mx-391, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Mexican amber (SMNS collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in the Mazantic Shale Formation of Mexico.
