S. Archangelsky and M. C. Zamaloa 1986Grano prolado; colpos de márgenes claros, subparalelos, extendiéndose hasta cerca de los polos (aproximadamente 2/3 del eje polar). Exina compuesta por dos capas, hasta 2 µm de espesor, la externa más gruesa que la interna. Exina tectada a semitectada, con columelas fusionadas formando un microretículo con aréolas de hasta 0.5 µm de diámetro, subcirculares a subpoligonales, a veces algo alargadas, dispuestas típicamente en hileras, en el sentido del eje polar.
