Type: UCMP 39847. Incomplete manus, pes and fragmentary post-cranial elements of a mature individual.
Taxonomy
Neotamandua borealis was named by Hirschfeld (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UCMP 39847, a set of limb elements (Radius proximal end), and it is a 3D body fossil.
