Mesodermochelys undulatus

Taxonomy
Mesodermochelys undulatus was named by Hirayama and Chitoku (1996). Its type specimen is HMG 5, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shirafunenosawa River, Inasato (Locality 1), which is in a Maastrichtian marine siltstone in the Hakobuchi Formation of Japan.
