Progyrolepis tricessimalaris
Taxonomy
Progyrolepis tricessimalaris was named by Dunkle (1946). Its type specimen is MCZ 6619, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Progyrolepis tricessimalaris-type locality, Rattlesnake Canyon, which is in an Autunian terrestrial claystone in the Admiral Formation of Texas.
