Cretoperipatus burmiticus
Taxonomy
Cretoperipatus burmiticus was named by Engel and Grimaldi (2002). Its type specimen is AMNH Bu218, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (AMNH collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Cretoperipatus.
