Taxonomy
Anisinodus crinitus was named by Lukashevich et al. (2010). Its type specimen is larva 6187a, a nymph (larva), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Arzviller, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France. It is the type species of Anisinodus.
