Pinnacaris dentata
Taxonomy
Pinnacaris dentata was named by Garassino and Teruzzi (1993). Its type specimen is MSNM i10691/2, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ponte Giurino, Valle Imagna (MSNM collection), which is in a Sevatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Argilliti di Riva di Solto Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Pinnacaris.
