Mesorabus elongatus
Taxonomy
Mesorabus elongatus was named by Ponomarenko (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/1525, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Mesorabus.
