Taxonomy
Minyohelea pumilis was named by Borkent (1995). Its type specimen is CAS 131 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Grassy Lake, Medicine Hat (P. Boston collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Foremost Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Minyohelea.
