Mystiornis cyrili
Taxonomy
Mystiornis cyrili was named by Kurochkin et al. (2011). Its type specimen is PM TSU 16/5–45, a limb element (left metatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shestakovo-1, which is in an Aptian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Ilek Formation of the Russian Federation.
