Tadzhikosuchus macrodentis

Taxonomy
Tadzhikosuchus macrodentis was named by Efimov (1982). Its type specimen is PIN 2399/457, a mandible (Left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kansai, FKA-7a, which is in a Santonian fluvial-deltaic horizon in the Yalovach Formation of Tajikistan. It is the type species of Tadzhikosuchus.

Synonyms
  • Tadzhikosuchus neutralis was named by Efimov (1988). Its type specimen is PIN 2399/458, a partial skull (Fragment of right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Tadzhikosuchus macrodentis by Storrs and Efimov (2000).
  • Tadzhikosuchus kizylkumensis was named by Nesov et al. (1989). Its type specimen is TsNIGRI 331/12457, a partial skull (Fragment of left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dzharakuduk II (general), which is in a Turonian/Turonian delta plain sandstone in the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Tadzhikosuchus macrodentis by Storrs and Efimov (2000).
