Taxonomy
Paraduplophyllum (Vacoea) vermiculare was named by Fedorowski (1987). Its type specimen is USNM 197289 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM720e, Hess Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in an Artinskian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Skinner Ranch Formation of Texas.
