Taxonomy
Paraduplophyllum (Paraduplophyllum) multiplicatum was named by Fedorowski (1987). Its type specimen is USNM 197190 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM727u, Lenox Hills, Glass Mountains, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Skinner Ranch Formation of Texas.
