Taxonomy
Costatoviblatta similis was named by Aristov (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 2555/1280, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 2555, Dzhailoucho area, which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
