Taxonomy
Triredimiculum spira was named by Waterhouse (1983). Its type specimen is UQ F73272, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is UQ L4635, Exmoor Homestead, which is in a Roadian coastal sandstone in the Gebbie Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Triredimiculum.
