Taxonomy
Pecten (Amusium) antiguensis was named by Brown (1913) [DISTRIBUTION: ?Oligocene or Early Miocene; Caribbean.]. Its type specimen is ANSP1648, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Amussiopecten antiguensis by Masuda (1971); it was recombined as Flabellipecten antiguensis by Woodring (1982).
