Taxonomy
Noriphyllia monatutoensis was named by Roniewicz and Stanley (2009). Its type locality is Saututun, Babulu Formation, Manatuto, East Timor, which is in a Carnian shallow subtidal limestone in the Babulu Formation of East Timor.
