Temnocheilus multituberculatum
Taxonomy
Nautilus multituberculatus was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Amb, very highest beds of Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Changhsingian coastal sandstone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Foordiceras multituberculatum by Hyatt (1893); it was recombined as Temnocheilus multituberculatum by Miller and Unklesbay (1942); it was recombined as Temnocheilus multituberculatus by Reed (1944).
