Ahytherium aureum
Taxonomy
Ahytherium aureum was named by Cartelle et al. (2008). Its type specimen is MCL 22834, a skull (nearly complete skull and mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Poço Azul Cave, which is in a Lujanian cave horizon in Brazil. It is the type species of Ahytherium.
