Taxonomy
Siamoperadectes minutus was named by Ducrocq et al. (1992). Its type specimen is TF 2630, a tooth (third right upper molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Li Mae Long, which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial horizon in Thailand.
