Kossmaticeras jeletzkyi was named by Collignon (1965) [DISTRIBUTION: Coniacian; southern Africa.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Kossmaticeras (Kossmaticeras) jeletzkyi by Kennedy and Klinger (1985).
