Taxonomy
Striatopora enigmatica was named by Nowinski (1992). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kowala railroad cut, units A-D, which is in a Frasnian/Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Kowala Formation of Poland.
