Diadectes absitus
Taxonomy
Diadectes absitus was named by Berman et al. (1998). Its type specimen is MNG 8853, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bromacker Quarry (upper level of Tambach sandstone), which is in an Artinskian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Tambach Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Silvadectes absitus by Kissel (2010).
