Taxonomy
Eofletcheria sculpta was named by Khayznikova (1989). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Sukhoy River, Sette Daban Mountains, unit 2, which is in an Ashgill shallow subtidal limestone in the Baraniy Formation of the Russian Federation.
