Girvanaster sculptus

Taxonomy
Girvanaster sculptus was named by Spencer (1916). Its type specimen is Lectotype BMNH E52539 and is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Girvanaster.

It was recombined as Protopalaeaster sculptus by Owen (1965).
