Lawnia taylorensis
Taxonomy
Lawnia taylorensis was named by Wilson (1953). Its type specimen is B.E.G. no. 30996-400, a skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Taylor County, WPA Site 7, which is in a Kungurian delta plain claystone/conglomerate in the Vale Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Lawnia.
