Guangxicyon sinoamericanus
Taxonomy
Guangxicyon sinoamericanus was named by Zhai et al. (2003). Its type specimen is IVPP 11818, a partial skeleton (left mandible, left humerus, and right tibia), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is IVPP 73083, which is in an Eocene terrestrial mudstone in the Nadu Formation of China. It is the type species of Guangxicyon.
