Taxonomy
Cytheromorpha flexuosa was named by Bertels (1975). Its type specimen is FCEN-LM 612, a carapace (Female carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Keijia flexuosa by Ceolin et al. (2015), Ceolin et al. (2024).
