Hypertragulus heikeni

Taxonomy
Hypertragulus heikeni was named by Ferrusquia-Villafranca (1969). Its type specimen is IGM 65-39, a mandible (both mandible rami with p1-m3,), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rancho Gaitan, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in the Preitos Formation of Mexico.
