Serpentisuchops pfisterae
Taxonomy
Serpentisuchops pfisterae was named by Persons IV et al. (2022). Its type specimen is GPM5001, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Old Woman Anticline, which is in a Maastrichtian marine shale in the Pierre Shale Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Serpentisuchops.
