Dearc sgiathanach
Taxonomy
Dearc sgiathanach was named by Jagielska et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NMS G.2021.6.1-4, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rubha nam Brathairean tracksite (south), which is in a Bathonian lagoonal lime mudstone in the Lealt Shale Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Dearc.
