Taxonomy
Nonionina clarki was named by Hanna (1923). Its type specimen is UCMP 30693 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP 3573 - NW of Vacaville, which is in a Ypresian offshore shale in California.
It was recombined as Cyclammina clarki by Sullivan (1962).
